Two of the famous Nolan sisters, Anne and Linda, have revealed how they were both diagnosed with cancer, the disease that killed their sister Bernie in 2013 aged just 52, just 4 days apart.
Anne, 69, is suffering from stage three breast cancer while Linda, 61, has cancer of the liver.
Linda has previously battled breast cancer in 2006 and secondary cancer in her pelvis in 2017. They have both now undergone chemotherapy and have both lost their hair.
Sister Coleen, a favourite on the television show Loose Women, has tweeted her support for her siblings, says that they have beaten it before and can beat it again.
A spokesman for the Nolans stated that it was true they were both diagnosed and are undergoing chemotherapy, saying that Linda’s secondary cancer of the hip has spread to her liver, while Anne has stage three breast cancer. He said that they would both like to thank the public for all the love and support that they have shown.
