A 59 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died in a city centre car park in Nottingham.
Deborah Jones, also known as Deborah Hendrick, 48, was attended to by paramedics at the scene but died a short time afterwards.
Police officials have stated that they believe the couple were known to each other and Deborah’s family have been informed and are undergoing specialist counseling.
The Detective Inspector in charge of the case, Kenny Henry, has urged the public to come forward if they know of any details of the crime, no matter how small or insignificant they think it might be. He also stated that they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the suspected murder and the public need not be fearful. Closing up his speech he requested for Deborah’s family to be left alone to grieve at this difficult time for them, while the extensive inquiries continued.
