Trump wishes Maxwell "well" as she faces rap of child trafficking charges

President Donald Trump has sent his support to Ghislaine Maxwell by “Wishing her well”

Maxwell, facing a rap from the FBI for recruiting underage girls for paedophile Jeffrey Epstein is currently behind bars after being denied bail.

Trump himself, was closely linked to the now-deceased paedophile and at his press conference on Tuesday he stated:

“I’ve met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach and I guess they lived in Palm Beach… but I wish her well, whatever it is.

“I don’t know about the situation with Prince Andrew, I just don’t know, I’m not aware of it.”

The former Daily Mirror owners daughter faces up to 40 years behind bars if found guilty of the numerous charges against her.

She is charged with of lying in depositions, sworn out-of-court testimonies, in a 2016 civil case as well as the more serious crimes of recruiting teenage girls – including one as young as 14 – for Epstein to sexually abuse from 1994 to 1997.

Trump supporters though feel Trump was being sarcastic in his comments as Bob Simmons from Palm Beach said:

“It’s all in the tone – he was being sarcastic there, he was more brushing off the question”
