Spanish police investigating after the woman fell from her balcony in es Canar in Santa Eulària, on the east coast of the island in the early hours of Friday morning.
The woman of 48 years, fell from the second floor balcony at the Fun Vista Mar hotel around 5.50am.
She hasn’t been named but is said to be a British national.
She was rushed to the local hospital on the island and it is unclear how severe her injuries are.
The woman is the second Brit to fall from a balcony in ten days after a British man fell from a hotel balcony in Marbella last week landing on top of a Spanish man.
Both died instantly in the tragic event.
